The role

Are you passionate about the world of administration and looking for an opportunity to develop professionally in the banking sector? From our client organization, a leading company in the financial sector, we are looking for a committed Administrative Assistant who wants to join their team in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

What you'll do

Main duties of the position include, among others:

  • Manage and file administrative and financial documentation efficiently.
  • Handle internal and external inquiries, providing administrative support to the team and clients.
  • Prepare and review reports, databases, and other documents related to banking operations.
  • Coordinate and follow up on administrative procedures required for the proper functioning of the office.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's internal regulations and policies in the management of documents and processes.
  • Collaborate in organizing internal meetings and events, managing schedules and necessary resources.
  • Perform invoicing tasks, expense control, and other basic financial management duties.
  • Support the digitalization of documents and the implementation of more agile administrative processes.

An important insurance company is looking to hire an administrative assistant to cover a leave of absence.

Duties: Resolving requests, monitoring and resolving alerts to process policyholders' applications. Receiving alerts from the sales network and reviewing the applications and reports requested by them.

Schedule: Mon-Thu: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fri: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. From 15/06 to 15/09, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mon-Fri.

Salary: €9.93/hour

Meal allowance: €11.10 (on days when the intensive schedule is not in effect)

Immediate start, duration until the end of the leave.

Location: Calle Juan Gris, Barcelona.

The leave is estimated to last about 3 months, but if they are satisfied with you, they always try to offer you stability or other opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience in health insurance and Catalan language.

Requirements

Academic background in Administration, Finance, or related fields.

Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in the banking or financial sector.

Proficiency in office software, especially Excel, Word, and document management systems.

Organizational skills and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
