The role

An important Spanish company, a leader in the energy sector, manufacturer and distributor of generator sets, located in San Javier, Murcia, is looking to add Electromechanical Technicians to its team for the upcoming opening of a factory in Alcantarilla, Murcia.

What you'll do

As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work in a technical environment, carrying out essential tasks for the production process. Your responsibilities will include receiving and preparing engines for assembly, assembling components on the chassis, wiring engines, soundproofing generator sets, and much more. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform tasks that are key to the team's success. The duties include:

Receiving and preparing the engine for assembly.

Coupling the different elements of the generator set onto the chassis before covering it with the sheet metal panels.

Wiring the engine and assembling components.

Soundproofing the generator set to ensure optimal operation.

Reading blueprints and electrical diagrams for precise execution.

Handling manual and automatic tools for cutting, crimping, and tightening.

Detecting and resolving faults or breakdowns in the equipment.

Operating forklifts to transport components.

Collaborating with the team to ensure quality at every stage of the process.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

Vocational training in Electromechanics, Mechanics, or Electricity.

Previous experience of 3 or more years in a similar role is valued.

Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Advanced handling of manual and automatic tools for cutting, crimping, and tightening.

Ability to detect faults and resolve breakdowns efficiently.

Forklift driving license.

Ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment.

Commitment to quality and precision in work.

Ability to adapt to new techniques and assembly processes.

Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to work as part of a team.

Residence near Alcantarilla is essential.

Availability to work at the San Javier factory until the opening of the new factory in Alcantarilla, for approximately 1 year.
