Machine operator for band strapping and splicing.

Functions:

• Feed the strapping band into the machine according to the production order, taking into account thickness, width and quality, following the technical instructions of the machine operator: place the coil on the uncoiler, weld the ends of the different coils and keep the band at the proper tension in the accumulator.
• Make and check the splice between strapping coils.
• Perform machine changeovers as established in the SMED system.
• Carry out the activities indicated in autonomous maintenance.
• Sort waste correctly. Collaborate and take responsibility for resource consumption. Follow and comply with the safety measures established by the organization, use and check the PPE provided correctly and report any situation that could lead to an incident or accident, whether environmental or occupational.

• Provide proof of experience and/or training in operating an overhead crane.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment.
• Availability to work shifts and a proactive, learning-oriented attitude.

• Driving licence and own vehicle.

• Training in welding and forklift operation will be valued.
• Applications with vocational training qualifications at intermediate or advanced level will be positively valued.
• Highly valued: ability to read production orders, knowledge of strapping band measurements and materials, skill in handling loads (overhead crane and trolley), knowledge of 5S methodology.

• Temporary replacement contract linked to a partial retirement process.
• The applicable collective agreement is the Collective Agreement for the Iron and Steel Industry of Gipuzkoa.
• The gross annual salary for the first six months will be approximately €35,600 gross per year.

• Rotating shifts on a weekly basis. Morning shift from 06:30 to 14:00 and afternoon shift from 14:00 to 21:30.

Funciones:

• Alimentar la máquina de tubo con el fleje de acuerdo con los requerimientos recogidos en la orden de fabricación, en cuanto a desarrollo, grosor y calidad, contando con la opinión técnica del maquinista: colocar el fleje en el porta-bobinas, soldar los extremos de las distintas bobinas y mantener en los niveles adecuados el fleje en el acumulador.
• Realizar y verificar el empalme entre rollos de fleje.
• Realizar los cambios de máquina según lo establecido en el Smed.
• Cumplimiento de las actividades indicadas en mantenimiento autónomo.
• Segregar correctamente los residuos. Colaborar y ser responsable con los consumos de recursos. Atender y cumplir las medidas de seguridad establecidas por la organización, utilizar y verificar los EPI´s proporcionados correctamente y comunicar cualquier circunstancia que pueda suponer un incidente o accidente tanto medioambiental como de riesgos laborales.

• Acreditar experiencia y/o formación en el manejo de grúa puente.
• Capacidad para desenvolverse en un entorno industrial.
• Disponibilidad para trabajar a turnos y con una actitud proactiva y de aprendizaje.
• Proactividad.
• Trabajar en equipo.
• Carné de conducir y vehículo propio.

• Se valorará la formación en soldadura y carretilla elevadora.
• Se valorarán positivamente las candidaturas con formación profesional de grado medio o superior.
• Muy valorable: Interpretar ordenes de fabricación, tener conocimiento de medidas de fleje, así como de material, tener habilidad en el manejo de cargas (puente grúa y carro), conocimiento de Izaro. 5´S.

• Contrato temporal de relevo, asociado a proceso de jubilación parcial.
• El Convenio marco es el Convenio Colectivo de la Industria Siderometalúrgica de Gipuzkoa.
• La retribución bruta anual durante los seis primeros meses será de aproximadamente 35.600 € brutos anuales.

• Turnos rotativos semanales. El turno de mañana será de 06:30 a 14:00 y el turno de tarde de 14:00 a 21:30.
