Currently, we are looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer to join engineering projects in Madrid, participating in the design and development of air conditioning, ventilation, and smoke control systems in high-technical demand industrial environments.
We are looking for a profile with extensive experience in HVAC engineering, technical autonomy, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary solutions, especially in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, energy, and large industrial facility projects.
Develop and review HVAC engineering technical documentation, including design bases, specifications, thermal load calculations, equipment sizing, data sheets, diagrams, plans, construction details, and lists of signals and electrical consumption.
Perform thermal and hydraulic calculations, sizing duct and pipe networks, air distribution systems, and selecting the most suitable HVAC equipment for each project.
Design ventilation, pressurization, and smoke control solutions, including systems for classified areas or those with potentially hazardous atmospheres.
Prepare technical requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations for HVAC equipment and materials, participating in technical inquiries and supplier selection processes.
Review technical documentation from suppliers and subcontractors, managing comments and verifying their compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines, such as Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Structures, Architecture, Safety, and Construction.
