At AECOM, we are expanding our Energy Engineering team in Enterprise Capabilities in Madrid. We are looking for engineers with experience in the design and engineering of high voltage electrical infrastructure who want to participate in some of the most relevant projects in the energy sector on an international level.

With a team of more than 3,000 technical professionals distributed across nine countries and supported by remote technical experts, Enterprise Capabilities is a fundamental piece of our Think and Act Globally strategy. 

You will be part of multidisciplinary teams developing energy transmission and distribution projects in different countries, participating in all engineering phases, from studies and conceptual designs to basic and detailed engineering.

Depending on your experience and specialty, you may work on projects related to:

• High Voltage Substations
• Protection and Control
• Energy Transmission Lines
• Electric power systems
• Primary and secondary electrical design
• HVDC technologies and international interconnections

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with specialists from different countries and contribute to the development of infrastructure that supports the energy transition and the modernization of electrical grids.

• Develop engineering solutions for Energy Transmission and Distribution projects.
• Participate in conceptual design, basic, and detailed engineering activities.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Ensure technical quality and compliance with project standards and requirements.

The most experienced profiles may take on responsibilities for technical coordination, review of deliverables, and leadership of engineering teams.
