Flight Test Analyst

Join the Airbus Helicopters España Flight Test team with this opportunity in the role of Test Analyst.

Contribute to the execution of test plans (Development, Certification & Qualification and/or Acceptance) in collaboration with the Design Office and the rest of the Flight Test department personnel, and support the progress of campaigns until their completion as a Test analyst. Throughout these internships, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the preparation of the test campaign, among other things, defining together with the Instrumentation expert, the appropriate installation of sensors and recorders to obtain the evidence (in the form of data) that allows for the correct execution of the test campaign.

• Validating test data. Critical capacity to ensure that the chosen Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) is adequate and that the data obtained during ground and flight tests are valid according to the test objective

• Analyzing characteristics and performance of Helicopter components or systems. Based on the collected data, you will have to identify characteristics, properties, behaviors (physical and functional), such as: Handling Qualities, flight safety, vibrations, thermal, etc. It also includes the ability to evaluate innovative technologies or architectures.

• Studying any anomalous characteristic found in the component or system during testing and performing follow-up together with the Design Office until the root cause is found

• Preparing reports presenting all necessary evidence and the analysis performed to allow for the requirements of the test plan to be met

• Degree and/or Master's in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering (specialization in Aircraft or Aeroengines preferred).

• Analytical and critical thinking capacity

• Advanced English

• The following will be positively valued: Knowledge of Helicopters and Programming knowledge (Python)
