About the role
An opportunity for a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the PIOGO team, acting as the essential link between manufacturing units, supply chain stakeholders, and programs. In this role, you will play a key part in placing purchase orders, maintaining material flows, and managing supplier inventory to directly support assembly lines and customer support needs.
What you'll do
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Manage Purchasing & Orders: Place purchase orders on behalf of the commodity and maintain full lifecycle order accuracy in the ERP system.
Coordinate Material Delivery: Serve as the operational interface between manufacturing customers, program teams, quality, and physical logistics to ensure parts arrive on time, quality, and cost.
Monitor Performance & Issues: Daily track supply chain performance across receiving, workshops, and shipping while prioritizing urgent requests and resolving disputes.
Drive Corrective Actions: Collaborate directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risks and implement corrective/preventive action plans.
Manage Inventory & Flows: Monitor global inventory volumes, control stock levels, and manage bidirectional logistics flows (returned parts, quotes, teardowns).
Improve Processes & KPIs: Implement and analyze key supply chain KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities and maintain supply continuity.

Education: University degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally within aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments.
Technical Knowledge: Strong command of MRP/ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset under dynamic pressure.
Languages: Advanced level of English (C1 or equivalent), both written and spoken.
