The role

Allianz Group is developing the Allianz Security Operations Center (ASOC ) as an integrated capability bringing together threat intelligence, travel security, physical security, executive protection, incident response, and crisis management, with the objective of progressively building scalable 24/7 operational capacity for both man-made and natural risks.

In a fast-changing and increasingly volatile environment, Allianz considers this capability a strategic imperative requiring concrete action, sustained commitment, and strong operational leadership.

The ASOC will strengthen Allianz Group's ability to anticipate, monitor, respond to, and recover from disruptions by integrating intelligence and operational capabilities and progressively expanding toward continuous, follow-the-sun coverage. It will protect Allianz personnel, physical assets, business operations, and critical functions through consistent monitoring, analysis, escalation, coordination, and reporting. The ASOC is positioned within Allianz Services and functionally reports into Corporate Security's Group Protection and Resilience Team.

Reporting to the ASOC Operational Lead, the ASOC Operational Officer will support the day-to day functioning of the ASOC operational activities, contributing to incident intake, triage, escalation, coordination, and operational reporting across geographies, business lines, and functions. Working closely with the ASOC Intelligence team, and relevant internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical, reporting skills, and practical experience in physical security operations, incident response, control room environments, or comparable operational settings. The role requires reliability, discretion, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on call-based environment.

What you'll do

  • Monitor, assess, and triage security alerts, incidents, and requests, ensuring timely escalation and response in line with ASOC procedures.
  • Execute initial incident response actions, including stakeholder notifications, coordination with local teams, and emergency service engagement when required.
  • Operate and monitor key security platforms, including travel security, mass notification, access control, and incident management systems.
  • Provide clear operational updates, incident summaries, and situation reports while maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and governance records.
  • Collaborate closely with ASOC teams, Intelligence, Cyber SOC, Protection & Resilience, Communications, and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making and coordinated response.
  • Support continuous improvement through post-incident reviews, lessons learned, drills, exercises, and preparedness activities for major incidents and crisis scenarios.
  • Track operational performance metrics, handle sensitive information securely, and ensure compliance with confidentiality, data protection, and governance requirements.
