Could you be the Maintenance Technician in Barajas, Madrid that we are looking for?
What you'll do
The APM (Automatic People Mover) maintenance technician will report to the team leader and will be responsible for the operation and the preventive and corrective maintenance activities of the APM railway system located in T4 of the Madrid-Barajas airport, guaranteeing compliance with the established availability and service quality indices and requirements.
We'll look to you for:
- Comply with safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance operations on the railway vehicles and fixed facilities of the Madrid Barajas Airport T4. Said maintenance includes tasks in electronics, instrumentation, assembly, electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, etc.
- Report and enter the results of the maintenance operations carried out in the workshop to keep the computer database up to date.
- Control the quality of maintenance, performing inspections and deciding on rejection based on established standards, reflecting the inspection results through templates.
- Collect data from the maintenance process, including temperatures, humidity, cycle duration, wear, defects, anomalies, etc., reflecting them through Work Order templates.
- Operation of the system from the control center, once authorization for operation has been obtained from engineering.
How you'll work
- Availability to work in Barajas on 10-day shifts, consisting of 6 working days and 4 rest days. The 6 working days will be two morning shifts (from 7:00 to 15:00), two afternoon shifts (from 15:00 to 23:00), and two night shifts (from 23:00 to 7:00).

- Experience as a Railway Rolling Stock Maintenance Technician will be positively valued.
- Knowledge of HVAC and Pneumatics will be valued.

Te buscamos para:
- Cumplir la normativa de seguridad y los procedimientos operativos.
- Realizar las operaciones de mantenimiento correctivo y preventivo de los vehículos ferroviarios e instalaciones fijas de la T4 del Aeropuerto Madrid Barajas. Dicho mantenimiento incluye tareas de electrónica, instrumentación, montaje, electricidad, mecánica, neumática, etc.
- Reportar e introducir los resultados de las operaciones de mantenimiento realizadas en taller, para mantener actualizada la base de datos informática
- Controlar la calidad del mantenimiento, realizando inspecciones y decidiendo sobre el rechazo en base a normas fijadas, reflejando a través de plantilla los resultados de la inspección.
- Tomar datos del proceso de mantenimiento, incluyendo temperaturas, humedades, duración de ciclos, desgastes, defectos, anomalías, etc. reflejando a través de plantillas de Ordenes de trabajo.
- Operacion del sistema desde el centro de control, una vez obtenido la autorizacion por parte de ingenieria para operacion.
How you'll work
