What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field (Master's or professional procurement qualification valued).
Experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, product ownership, architecture, project or service management.
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a collaborative mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, spend analytics, and contract lifecycle tools.
Strong curiosity and practical understanding of AI and its commercial implications and risks.
Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
Demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders and influence through cooperation.
Curiosity for technology trends and commitment to continuous learning.

The role

IT Sourcing & Purchasing Manager

Want to orchestrate the entire Sourcing ‑to‑Purchase journey, building transparency and collaboration across teams, suppliers, and systems?

Whether your background is in Product Ownership, Project Management, Architecture, or Service and Supplier Management - your expertise can thrive and make an impact here!

You will be part of the Global Corporate Purchasing Department

Partner with technology and product leaders to design long-term sourcing strategies that align technology and business priorities.
Serve as a primary procurement contact throughout the sourcing lifecycle, ensuring early business engagement and clear communication.
Translate technology and stakeholder roadmaps into actionable sourcing plans.
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including proposal management, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contracting, with transparency and respect.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Security, and Risk teams to achieve compliant and effective outcomes.
Foster supplier performance and continual value improvement through relationship‑building and innovation.
Contribute to Amadeus' technology transformation by supporting public and hybrid cloud sourcing strategies.
Stay ahead of regulatory changes, developments in cloud, AI and other emerging technologies, translating changes in market dynamics into actionable sourcing strategies.
Leverage data automation and AI to improve spend analysis, supplier intelligence, benchmarking, process efficiency across the purchasing lifecycle.
Promote best practices, inclusive collaboration, and ethical procurement decisions across all functions.
