What we're looking for

- Hold a vocational training qualification or a degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, or Safety and Health.

- Have relevant experience applying data analysis to generate and explain metrics.

- Have an advanced level of Spanish (C1 CEFR).

- Have experience communicating with all types of business partners, both in writing and through presentations.

The role

At Amazon, we prioritize the safety and protection of our staff above all else. That's where our safety and health technicians come in. This role will give you the opportunity to start a career in the occupational safety sector and develop within an international company. You will work closely with our experts to oversee the site, so you can see the positive impact of your work on staff well-being every day.

A day in the life

You will work in one of our logistics centers, which will allow you to stay up-to-date with everything that happens. Additionally, staff will be able to consult you whenever they need during their shifts. The main responsibility of this role is to identify potential problems before they happen. You will spend a lot of time reviewing the site and learning how staff handle equipment. By knowing how each task is performed and all machinery is used, you can think of ways to ensure the safety of processes.

Additionally, you will be one of the people in charge of implementing safety improvements, so you will work closely with a variety of professionals. In addition to your daily and weekly tasks, you will support the operations team on safety-related issues when needed.

Safety is very important to Amazon, so you will help us collect the necessary data to monitor our processes and stay ahead of any incidents. You will also share the data with staff across the company and collaborate with other teams to ensure that safety and health are their priority.
