The position is 100% remote from Spain, with the possibility of working in person (or hybrid) at our offices in central Barcelona if you prefer.

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Implementation of safety policies and procedures: Collaborate on the development and execution of occupational health and safety policies and procedures within the company. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and promote best practices in occupational safety.
  • Incident investigation: Lead the investigation of workplace incidents and accidents, analyzing root causes and proposing corrective measures. Record and report incidents in a timely manner, and collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Fostering a safety culture: Promote active employee participation in risk management.
  • Provide training and information on prevention to all staff.
  • Regulatory compliance: Stay up to date on applicable occupational health and safety laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal and external audits, providing required information and documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: University Degree and Master's in OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) (Safety & Hygiene and Ergonomics and Psychosocial).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational risk management and technical knowledge.
  • Previous experience in roles related to occupational health and safety.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment, incident investigation and safety program development.
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Availability to travel throughout the national territory to carry out supervision, evaluation and advisory activities regarding OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) at the different points of sale.
