The role

At Universidad Europea, we are looking to hire a Security Technician to help guarantee the physical security of our campuses, facilities, and university community.

The selected person will play a key role in the coordination and supervision of the University's physical security, ensuring the correct functioning of surveillance services, compliance with internal procedures, and the adequate management of incidents, emergencies, and risk situations.

Their scope of action will be transversal, providing support to the different campuses and centers of the University nationwide. They will work closely with the Security and Occupational Risk Prevention Directorate, the managers of the various campuses, and collaborating security companies to guarantee a safe environment for students, teachers, professionals, and visitors.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate the daily operations of the University's physical security services.
  • Provide support and follow-up to the security operations of the different campuses and centers of the University nationwide.
  • Participate in the preparation, updating, and continuous improvement of the operational plans for the various campuses.
  • Supervise the performance of surveillance personnel and ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Support the planning of shifts, coverage, and operational needs of the service.
  • Perform periodic inspections in buildings, campuses, clinics, and university facilities.
  • Identify risks and propose preventive and corrective measures, performing their corresponding follow-up.
  • Manage and coordinate incidents, emergencies, and operational contingencies.
  • Supervise the correct use of uniforms, equipment, and work tools.
