About the role

Leading textile company in design and manufacturing seeks to hire a Sewing Operator with experience in INDUSTRIAL GARMENT MANUFACTURING for its Getafe branch.

Requirements:

What you'll do

  • Operate sewing machines for leather and synthetic materials (flatbed, post-bed, triple feed, etc.).
  • Manufacture bags, purses, backpacks, belts, and other leather goods according to technical specifications.
  • Assemble leather pieces: sewing bodies, flaps, linings, handles, zippers, and reinforcements.
  • Prepare and align pieces before sewing (marking, skiving, edge trimming).
  • Check the quality of seams, finishes, and symmetry of the products.
  • Perform corrections and repairs when necessary.
  • Properly handle threads, needles, and special leather accessories.
  • Keep machines in good condition and report malfunctions.
  • Meet production standards and established deadlines.
  • Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the work area.
  • Support final quality control of finished articles.

What we're looking for

- Minimum 1 year of experience in sewing - industrial garment manufacturing.

- Minimum 1 year of experience with industrial sewing machinery.

Nice to have

- Experience with table/flat work is a plus.
