At Aqualia, a company specialized in integrated water cycle management, we are looking for a Swimming Instructor for a sports facility in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid).
To understand and participate in the development of the technical, global, and specific programming, as well as the tasks and activities to be carried out.
- Deliver teaching activities: swimming classes, courses, general or specific sessions, developing the guidelines contained in the programming, through the execution of the proposed sessions and schedules, favoring the acquisition of skills and prioritizing socio-educational objectives.
To take full responsibility for the supervision, safety (with rigorous control of risk factors), and organization of the students under your charge, as well as the evaluation of progress, resources, and objectives.
- Assess the sporting needs of the activity offering, collect qualitative and quantitative information, to propose the resources, programs, or projects to be created or developed, participating in their preparation and/or evaluation.
- Participate in the preparation of the technical documentation for the service.
- Inform users (as well as their families if necessary) about the development of sporting and educational activities and other elements of the service.
- Take responsibility for the organization of the means, instruments, and materials under their charge.
- Perform statistics and records of the students under their charge.
- Prepare daily reports indicating work and technical assistance performed, actions taken, and communicate and report any incidents or anomalies in the service to their hierarchical or functional superiors.
- Ensure permanently the rigorous compliance with and enforcement of the safety and behavior rules dictated for the use of the various facilities.
- Preparation, distribution, collection, and correct storage of didactic material, instruments, or auxiliary equipment for the activities.
- Perform any other complementary task that, due to their job position, is necessary for the development of their functions.
Schedule: Fridays 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Total hours/week: 8 hours/week (17.95% of a full-time schedule).
