The role

Join Aqualia and be part of our team! At Aqualia, we are looking for a plant operator profile with the following duties:

What you'll do

Carry out maintenance work due to breakdowns or equipment wear (disassembling pumps and motors, replacing membranes, welding, blowers, etc.).
Start up new facilities (chlorination units, reagent dosing pumps, etc.).
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks (cleaning raw water, settled water and treated water filters, checking compressor and pump levels, checking pump and motor lubrication, cleaning wastewater manholes, etc.).
Monitor the water treatment process and the quality of both wastewater and drinking water.
Organize and clean workshops, warehouses, offices, etc.
Take care of tools and equipment and be responsible for outdoor facility maintenance (painting, gardening, etc.).
Assist plant staff with various tasks, such as collecting samples for laboratory analysis.
Clean settling tanks and clarifiers.
Perform any other complementary task that, due to their position, is necessary for the development of their duties.

Requirements

Required qualifications: Vocational training qualifications (Intermediate Degree) or Technical qualifications in water supply and treatment networks and stations and/or electrical and/or mechanical and/or electromechanical specialties will be valued.

Required experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in electromechanical equipment maintenance tasks and/or production facility installations.

Specific required knowledge: Intermediate-level electromechanical maintenance and operations.

Specific valued knowledge: Training in electromechanics, plumbing and construction.
