What you'll do

Implement and coordinate the commercialization strategy, including pre-launch phases, for the brands under your responsibility within the accounts assigned to your territory, and be the preferred partner for stakeholders in those accounts, providing comprehensive and differentiated value - in the healthcare accounts/areas you manage - coordinated with the cross-functional field team in order to position AstraZeneca as an industry reference in that medical area.

Main challenges:

● Gain in-depth knowledge of how the healthcare organization works (areas relevant to access and prescription), the Patient Journey, and key decision-making stakeholders to ensure rapid access and positioning.

● Identify commercial and customer opportunities beyond the clinical scope, coordinating cross-functional commercial actions to maximize business objectives in the account/healthcare area.

● Identify the key customer and decision-maker at the different stages of the product/indication process.

● Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during the drug launch and commercialization phases.

● Lead within your scope of action - externally and internally - with a broad vision, going beyond the drug itself, and implement omnichannel strategies to achieve the best health and business outcomes.

● Know and analyze all environmental information at the regional level / ecosystem of key decision-makers in decisions affecting the healthcare account/area under their responsibility, and lead cross-functional work.

● Work proactively in a cross-functional manner to continuously gain insights and identify barriers and opportunities at the account/healthcare area level, enabling informed decision-making within the Patient Journey.

● Ensure continuity of the work carried out by the "Strategic Scientific Advisor" prior to brand access to the healthcare account/area, to achieve greater and faster brand development in the account/area.

● Work in a timely manner to identify the various stakeholders in each healthcare account/area (decision-makers, influencers, and prescribers) and properly profile them for S&T exercises.

● Coordinate the strategic business plan with the cross-functional team (Access, Medical, Diagnostics, and Commercial) within the One KAM framework, aligned with the regional brand plan.

● Take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle once pricing and reimbursement are approved in the healthcare accounts/areas under your responsibility.

● Manage the hospital-level introduction of products in non-priority healthcare accounts/areas, ensuring coordination with the entire regional access and central team involved.

● Take responsibility for hospital sales objectives and the sphere of influence of the healthcare accounts/areas under your responsibility, as well as for any deviations, proposing corrective actions.

● Identify business opportunities that may have an impact beyond the hospital setting, as well as actions/solutions for patients or customers, with the aim of resolving critical points in the Patient Journey (beyond the drug itself).

● Work jointly with the RAM and the entire cross-functional team, ensuring alignment and the flow of information to strengthen the overall vision of the CCAA.
