The role

As an Occupational Health and Safety Technician, you will support the implementation of the company's Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local legislation, improving working conditions, and maintaining safe work environments.

The position can be located in our Madrid office or in Barcelona.

What you'll do

  • Manage Health and Safety activities as an active member of the Joint Prevention Service, ensuring compliance with legislation and corporate standards.
  • Perform risk assessments and workplace inspections, defining and monitoring preventive measures.
  • Coordinate occupational health surveillance and Health and Safety training.
  • Manage documentation related to Health and Safety, including workplace adaptations, protection during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and the management and coordination of business activities (CAE).
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and defining corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain emergency plans and coordinate first aid and emergency training.
  • Provide support during labor and Health and Safety inspections, audits, and Health and Safety Committees.
  • Monitor Health and Safety KPIs and accident rates, promoting a strong preventive culture.
  • Stay up to date on legislation and regulatory changes regarding Health and Safety.
  • Provide support on global Health and Safety matters, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and objectives.

Requirements

  • University degree.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) with the three specialties, in accordance with Spanish legislation: Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in multi-center and international environments.
  • B2 English.
  • Knowledge of local Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
  • Driving license.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
