What we're looking for

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Fashion Design, Fashion Design & Technology or a related discipline.
  • Passionate about fashion, particularly womenswear, with a strong interest in the Pepe Jeans aesthetic and product.
  • Proactive, curious and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and technical drawing.
  • Basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics and product development.
  • Knowledge of PLM software is a plus.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Creative mindset combined with a practical and solution-oriented approach.

The role

Who we are...

The project!

As a Women's Design Intern, you will support the Design team throughout the product development process, from initial concept and research through to final product development and production. You will work closely with the Senior Designers and gain hands-on experience across different stages of the design process within the Pepe Jeans collection.

An excellent opportunity to develop both creative and technical skills within an international fashion brand, gaining hands-on experience across the full design and product development process. You will work alongside an experienced Design team and gain exposure to the different stages involved in creating a seasonal collection.

What you'll do

  • Support the Design team throughout the end-to-end product development process, from concept and research to final production.
  • Assist the Senior Designer with day-to-day design activities and seasonal collection development.
  • Create accurate fashion sketches, technical drawings and product specifications using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Tech Packs, ensuring all measurements, construction details and specifications are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with product data and Bills of Materials within the PLM system.
  • Organise and follow up on samples and product development, including prototypes, fabrics, trims and colour approvals.
  • Participate in fit sessions and support the team by documenting comments and implementing the required technical changes.
  • Support the organisation and maintenance of the design archive, fabric and trim libraries.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials for seasonal collection reviews and internal presentations.
  • Conduct trend, market and competitor research to support the development of new collections.
  • Collaborate with other teams involved in the product development process, gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle.
