The role

We are looking to hire an Occupational Therapist at our Ballesol Alcalá de Henares residence who shares our service vocation and contributes to improving the quality of life of the elderly through rehabilitation, stimulation, and maintenance programs for functional capacities.

As an Occupational Therapist, your mission will be to contribute to maximizing the independence of our residents in their daily lives through therapeutic actions that effectively integrate physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects, promoting their well-being.

What you'll do

Assess the functional capacity and level of autonomy of residents (assessment of basic and instrumental activities of daily living).
Design individualized programs for the maintenance or improvement of activities of daily living (ADLs).
Conduct cognitive stimulation workshops (in collaboration with Psychology), crafts, psychomotricity, and therapeutic leisure (in coordination with TASOC).
Conduct gerontogymnastics workshops.
Adapt environments, objects, and technical aids to promote autonomy.
Promote social integration and participation in collective activities.
Collaborate in the prevention of physical and cognitive deterioration.
