We are currently looking for a Mechanical Designer with Advanced Vocational Training (FP2/Higher Degree) and CATIA experience to join a stable project in the aerospace and defense sector. The position is specifically aimed at professionals with an Advanced Vocational Training qualification and experience in the design of mechanisms and complex mechanical assemblies. You will join a division specialized in the development of electromechanical systems and high-precision mechanisms for space applications, working alongside a multidisciplinary team covering mechanics, electronics, control, manufacturing, and testing.

• Design mechanisms and mechanical assemblies for aerospace applications.
• Participate in the conceptual and detailed design of solutions.
• Perform 3D modeling of parts, components, and assemblies using CATIA.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, part lists, and technical documentation.
• Define tolerances, fits, materials, and manufacturing requirements.
• Analyze interfaces, movements, interferences, and assemblies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing teams.
• Provide support during prototype manufacturing and issue resolution.
• Participate in design validation and environmental, thermal, vacuum, or vibration testing.
• Keep technical documentation and requirements traceability up to date.

• Advanced Vocational Training (FP2 or Higher Degree), preferably in Mechanical Manufacturing Design, Mechanical Project Development, Industrial Drafting, or an equivalent specialization.
• The position is specifically aimed at professionals with vocational training qualifications.
• Approximately five years of experience in mechanical design.
• Advanced experience working with CATIA.
• Experience in the design of mechanisms, parts, and complex mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of tolerances, fits, manufacturing drawings, and production processes.
• Ability to work in English, both with technical documentation and in meetings.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
