Senior Java Developer

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience in API products (API First paradigm) and messaging queues such as Kafka, with extensive experience in a similar role to join permanently one of the technology teams that BETWEEN has deployed at one of our main clients.

The selected person will collaborate on a major technology project under an agile methodology, with collaborative and non-hierarchical teams, requiring a high degree of proactivity and responsibility. 

• Communicate ideas, new methods, or technologies with the aim of improving the current technology stack.
• Actively and consistently participate in the design and development of APIs.
• Ensure code quality and cleanliness (Clean Code).
• Stay up to date with technologies, especially those related to ecommerce. Identify new trends that can be used to achieve maximum results.
• Work as a team and hand in hand with the Tech Lead and the rest of the development team.
• Comply with all project and company guidelines and standards and ensure the team does the same.
• Work in 2-week sprints, mainly composed of iterative user stories, and take team responsibility for that
• commitment.

• Develop in Java 17, using Spring Framework, among other available technologies.
• Use frameworks and services provided by the organization for the continuous delivery of functionality.
• Use scrum as the agile methodology, with support tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

• Working hand in hand with the rest of the developers, Tech Lead, Product Owner, and Engineering Manager.
