The role

At Bnext, we build financial infrastructure so that other companies can offer payment services under their own brand (white-labelling). We were born in 2016 as an alternative to traditional banking and were among the first Spanish fintechs to obtain an Electronic Money Institution license from the Bank of Spain. Today, we put our technology and expertise at the service of those who want to innovate in payments and financial means. Our purpose is to create a more agile, human, and accessible experience, removing barriers and connecting with the real needs of people.

What you'll do

Currently, we are looking for a Junior Legal professional with at least 2 years of experience reporting directly to the group's Legal Manager. You will be responsible for the drafting and review of legal documents, and assisting in the development of legal strategies while taking the company's needs into account.

  1. Review and negotiation of limited-risk contracts for the business or those for which an unsupervised model exists, such as confidentiality agreements or legal terms and conditions for sweepstakes and promotions.
  2. Management of relevant but non-crucial matters for the business with the involved teams through follow-up, but without continuous supervision, such as operations with suppliers or other issues depending on the employee's knowledge.
  3. Support in the review, negotiation, preparation, and study of contracts or strategic projects for the company under supervision.
  4. Supervised comprehensive corporate management of the group companies' corporate compliance.
  5. Advising on legal inquiries from the different departments of the company, studying matters of different natures to offer solid, creative, and business-oriented legal solutions.
  6. Risk management: Identify legal risks and propose appropriate actions to mitigate them, safeguarding the organization from legal liabilities.
  7. Regulatory management: Stay up to date on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the sector and ensure that the organization adapts its policies and procedures accordingly.

Hiring process

  1. Initial interview with the People & Culture team.
  2. In-person interview with our Legal Manager.
  3. Interview with the General Counsel.
  4. If we like what you tell us, we will move on to putting you in contact with another member of Bnext so they can get to know you :)
