Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, Technical Engineering, or a similar technical qualification related to the construction field.
Experience of between 1 and 2 years in similar functions, preferably in the execution and monitoring of building works.
Knowledge of construction execution and monitoring, management of main contractors and subcontractors, interpretation of blueprints, measurements, budgets, and certifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.

The role

At Calconut, we are looking to hire a Junior Site Manager to join the Projects and Sustainability area.

The selected person will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of the company's construction projects, with special attention to residential self-promotion and the monitoring of ongoing industrial works.

What you'll do

Preparation and monitoring of schedules, deadlines, and construction progress.
Control of costs, budgets, measurements, and certifications.
Requesting, analyzing, and comparing offers from suppliers and contractors.
Coordination of main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and various trades.
On-site supervision of assigned works.
Review and interpretation of blueprints and preparation of simple drawings in AutoCAD.
Monitoring of execution in accordance with the project, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Detection, management, and reporting of incidents or deviations.
Quality control of works and monitoring of rectifications.
Collection and filing of technical documentation, certificates, and material data sheets.
Verification of occupational risk prevention documentation from contracting companies.
Participation in site meetings and preparation of progress reports.
Coordination with the different departments involved in the projects.
