BIM Architect Modeler

Cambium.build, a company at the intersection of technology, industrialized construction, and Mass Timber, is looking to bring on board a highly skilled Architect / BIM Modeler to join our team.

This position offers the opportunity to participate in innovative construction projects using Mass Timber, leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to integrate this building system into projects of various scales and typologies.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing precise 3D architectural models and working closely with engineers, architects, designers, and project managers, ensuring efficient integration between design, engineering, fabrication, and construction.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a special interest in industrialized, sustainable, and efficient construction.

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D architectural BIM models throughout the various stages of projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in architecture, engineering, design, fabrication, and construction to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects.
• Integrate Mass Timber, CLT, and GLT solutions within architectural projects and building systems.
• Review and validate BIM models according to the requirements, standards, and regulations applicable to each project.
• Prepare and manage the necessary BIM documentation for the development, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Detect clashes, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities from the early design stages.
• Coordinate information across architecture, structure, MEP installations, and fabrication.
• Stay up to date with BIM tools, working methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and modeling processes for an increasingly industrialized, precise, and efficient construction.

• University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with experience or specialization in BIM modeling.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler, Architect, or Draftsperson, using tools such as Revit or Cadwork.
• Solid knowledge of construction processes, technical documentation, and architectural design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in English, especially for documentation, software, and project coordination.
