Requirements
What we're looking for
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Experience in software testing, verification, and validation.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of programming in C and/or C++.
- Experience working with requirements and traceability.
- English level B2 or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience in railway sector projects.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools.
- Experience in critical systems environments or high-reliability software.
- Knowledge of incident management and version control.

The role
We are looking for a Rail Test Engineer to join a technological project in the railway sector, participating in verification, validation, and software testing activities in critical systems.
The selected person will collaborate in the execution of unit and software integration testing, as well as in the definition of requirements, traceability management, and documentation associated with testing activities. They will be part of an engineering environment where software quality and requirement compliance are key elements of the development process.
What you'll do
- Execution of software verification and validation activities.
- Design and execution of unit and integration testing.
- Analysis of results and test documentation.
- Definition and monitoring of software requirements.
- Management of traceability between requirements, development, and testing.
- Collaboration with development teams to resolve incidents detected during the testing phases.
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation associated with the validation process.
