 What will your role be?  

We are looking for a Data Governance Consultant focused on the definition, implementation and evolution of information governance and semantic management models. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining business models, taxonomies, glossaries, catalogs and data standards, ensuring alignment between business needs and established governance frameworks.

The selected candidate will lead the definition of corporate semantic content, ensuring the consistency, quality and reuse of information assets. Likewise, you will play a key role in training, evangelizing and supporting users, facilitating the adoption of good data governance practices and promoting a data-driven culture within the organization.

You must be able to translate complex technical concepts related to metadata, semantics and data governance into methodologies and procedures that are understandable for business profiles.

Your profile

  • Mandatory requirements: 
    • Demonstrable experience in Data Governance projects, especially in semantic management and metadata areas.
    • Experience working with the Collibra tool.
    • Solid knowledge in defining and maintaining:
      • Business glossaries.
      • Taxonomies and ontologies.
      • Data catalogs.
      • Conceptual and semantic models.
      • Governance policies, standards and procedures.
    • Experience in managing and administering functional and business metadata.
    • Ability to define and document data standards and quality criteria.
    • Experience delivering training and facilitating sessions with business users.
    • Communication and facilitation skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at different levels.
    • Analytical capacity and a cross-functional view of business processes and information.
  • Nice-to-have requirements: 
    • Certifications or specialized training in Data Governance, Data Management or Data Governance.
    • Knowledge of reference frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK or similar.
    • Experience in Data Catalog, Data Quality or Data Stewardship initiatives.
    • Knowledge of semantic modeling, linked data or advanced corporate knowledge management.
    • Experience in digital transformation and change management projects related to data.
    • Knowledge of data architecture and analytical ecosystems.
    • Experience working in complex corporate environments and organizations with mature data governance models.
