The Role

As a Senior Compositor, you will combine artistic sensibility with technical precision to composite live-action plates with CG elements. You are the final step in the pipeline, responsible for the "final pixel" quality of complex, photorealistic shots.
Key Responsibilities

  • Complex Integration: Seamlessly integrate 3D assets (lighting, multipass compositing) with live-action plates using Nuke.

  • Set Extension: Execute 2.5D and 3D projection setups within Nuke's 3D environment.

  • Keying & Prep: Perform advanced keying (IBK/Keylight/Primatte) and despill operations on difficult blue/green screen plates involving fine hair detail and motion blur.

  • Pipeline Adherence: Work within a proprietary pipeline, managing consistent color workflows (ACES/OCIO).

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Feature Film or High-End Episodic VFX.

  • Expert proficiency in The Foundry Nuke.

  • Strong understanding of Linear workflows, Color Space, and Photography (lenses, distortion, grain).

Bonus points

  • Knowledge of Python or TCL scripting for gizmo creation.

  • Knowledge of Mocha Pro or Silhouette.
