Requirements

What we're looking for

Hold one of the following qualifications:
- Vocational Training (FPGS) Technician in Nursing Assistant Care.
- Vocational Training (FPGS) Technician in Care for People in a Situation of Dependency.
- Professional Certificate in Socio-sanitary Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions.

Nice to have

Training in geriatrics.
Previous experience with elderly and/or dependent people.
Knowledge of hygiene, mobilization, feeding, and safety protocols.
Basic knowledge of frequent pathologies in elderly people.

The role

Caser Servicios wants to incorporate a geriatric caregiver into its team for the Caser Residencial business at our care center in Oliana, Lleida.

Reporting directly to the Care Manager, your mission will be to provide basic care and support in activities of daily living to the residents, guaranteeing their well-being, safety, dignity, and quality of life, following the care protocols and values of the center.

What you'll do

Among your main responsibilities are:

Daily attention and care of the residents.
Support in hygiene, feeding, mobility, and rest.
Collaboration in care assistance and monitoring the state of the residents.
Detection and communication of physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
Promotion of the autonomy and well-being of the people being cared for.
Maintenance of safety, order, and hygiene, complying with established protocols.

Key skills

Empathy and resident orientation.
Work in an interdisciplinary team (nursing, doctors, therapy, coordination).
Clear and respectful communication.
Responsibility and rigor in complying with protocols.
Patience, self-control, and the ability to manage delicate situations.
