Requirements
What we're looking for
- Experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance in both HVAC and industrial refrigeration. Also in refrigeration units such as VRVs, splits, cooling towers, etc.
- Previous experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on split HVAC systems, fan coils, chillers... in buildings and industrial facilities.
-Vocational Training (CFGM) and/or Higher Education in HVAC
-You provide a Fluorinated Gases certificate

The role
We want to add a 1st-class Refrigeration Technician to the team to work in the different facilities of an important client located in Barcelona and surrounding areas
What you'll do
1-Preventive and Regulatory Maintenance
- Periodic inspections: Execute preventive maintenance plans on air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment (air conditioners, rooftops, heat pumps, fan coils, chillers, and extractors).
- Legal compliance (RITE / sanitary regulations): Ensure that the installations comply with the Regulation of Thermal Installations in Buildings (RITE) and specific guidelines for public health buildings.
- Air quality control: Perform cleaning, disinfection, and replacement of air filters in ducts and terminal units, which is vital to avoid the proliferation of pathogens in a medical environment.
- Refrigeration network inspections: Control of pressures, temperatures, electrical consumption, and absence of refrigerant gas leaks (following environmental regulations such as F-Gas).
2. Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Diagnosis and repair: Locate and solve electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic faults in air conditioning systems quickly and efficiently.
3. Operation and Control of Installations
- Supervision of BMS / Centralized systems: Monitor the operation of thermal installations through automated management systems (Building Management Systems) to optimize temperature setpoints and energy efficiency.
- Calibration and adjustments: Regulation of thermostats, temperature/humidity probes, and air flow dampers according to the needs of each zone of the medical center.
4. Management, Reporting, and Protocols
- Work reports and certification: Register each intervention (preventive or corrective) in the COMSA Service management applications, detailing materials used, times, and the status of the equipment.
