Construction Site Manager

The profile we are looking for

We are looking for a Site Manager with real field experience, who knows how a site works from the inside and has no problem assuming a very operational role.

We will especially value professionals who have worked on building, renovation, civil engineering, or construction projects, depending on their experience and career path.

We need a person who:

• Has demonstrable experience as a Site Manager or in responsibility positions within a site.
• Is accustomed to working on-site.
• Knows how to coordinate different teams and companies simultaneously.
• Has the capacity to make decisions and resolve problems quickly.
• Is autonomous and has initiative.
• Knows how to handle unforeseen situations and changes during execution.
• Has negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Is organized and results-oriented.
• Has the capacity to communicate effectively with the different agents involved.
• Is a dynamic person, with character and leadership capacity.
• Understands that site management requires presence, monitoring, and capacity for reaction.

Requirements

• Technical training related to Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Public Works Engineering or similar.
• Previous experience in site management and execution.
• Experience coordinating teams, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of planning, costs, measurements, and site control.
• Proficiency in IT tools and standard site management software.
• Availability to work on projects located in Madrid.
• Driver's license.

We are looking for a professional with consolidated site experience, accustomed to being on-site, making decisions, and coordinating the different agents involved in the project.

Beyond technical knowledge, we are looking for a person who is dynamic, organized, decisive, and capable of working autonomously in demanding environments.

A person who truly knows the day-to-day of a construction site and is capable of anticipating problems, coordinating teams, and ensuring the project progresses according to the established objectives.

What will your mission be?

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the integral management of the project, from initial planning to execution and closure, coordinating the necessary technical, human, and material resources.

You will work directly with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, technical management, and ownership, ensuring the correct development of the project in terms of deadlines, costs, quality, and safety.

Main responsibilities

• Planning, organization, and monitoring of the execution of the works.
• Coordination and supervision of internal teams and subcontractors.
• Daily monitoring of works and control of site progress.
• Interpretation and monitoring of plans, projects, and technical documentation.
• Control of costs, certifications, measurements, and production.
• Management and coordination of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Control of materials, resources, and site needs.
• Monitoring of compliance with deadlines and planning.
• Coordination with Technical Management, ownership, and different project agents.
• Resolution of technical and organizational incidents during execution.
• Supervision of compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Preparation and monitoring of site reports.
• Detection of possible deviations and proposal of solutions.
• Participation in project monitoring and coordination meetings.
• Document management associated with the site.
• Ensuring compliance with established economic, technical, and temporal objectives.
