What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Customer Accounting or similar positions.

Accounts Receivable Specialist - Finance

At Cooltra, we are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team.

What you'll do

The person will be responsible for managing and monitoring processes related to accounts receivable, ensuring correct invoicing, posting of collections, and monitoring of outstanding balances, as well as collaborating in the continuous improvement of the area's processes.

  • Manage the daily accounts receivable process.

  • Issue, review, and monitor invoices, credit notes, and customer charges.

  • Correctly register, verify, and post received collections.

  • Monitor outstanding balances and overdue invoices, contacting customers when necessary.

  • Periodically analyze customer aging and support debt collection management.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoicing, collections, or customer accounts.

  • Perform reconciliations of customer accounts and the Accounts Receivable subledger.

  • Provide support in the monthly and annual closing processes linked to accounts receivable.

  • Collaborate with other departments, especially Sales and Operations, to resolve incidents related to invoicing and collections.

  • Provide support in the preparation of reporting and collection forecasts.
