  • We are currently looking for a proactive and autonomous profile (managing tasks and regulatory deadlines), with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, a desire to learn and interpersonal skills (liaising with supervisors and internal areas) and who knows how to structure complex information, solve problems and propose improvements, to join the COREP Reporting Unit.
  • The COREP Reporting, Regulatory Capital Management and Disclosure area is responsible for determining eligible own funds and regulatory reporting to the Supervisor (Bank of Spain / ECB), in accordance with current regulations (CRR/CRD, EBA) and the Group's internal standards.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in the end-to-end solvency reporting process, actively participating in the interpretation of regulations, report generation, process improvement and management of the relationship with the regulator.

What you'll do

  • Your main responsibilities will include:
    • Preparing and analysing regulatory reporting (COREP and other solvency statements), ensuring quality, consistency and compliance with deadlines.
    • Interpreting and applying prudential regulations (CRR/CRD, EBA ITS/RTS, local circulars), assessing impacts and ensuring proper implementation.
    • Monitoring capital ratios (CET1, Tier 1, Total Capital) and variance analysis, identifying drivers and risks.
    • Maintaining direct dialogue with the Supervisor (Bank of Spain / ECB), responding to regulatory requests, inspections and reviews.
    • Providing support in internal and external audits, as well as regulatory inspections.
    • Participating in the maintenance, improvement and automation of reporting processes.
    • Managing and exploiting large volumes of data, ensuring traceability and quality of information.
    • Participating in regulatory projects and adapting to new regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for

  • A university degree in a Technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics) or Finance (Economics, Business Administration), with a quantitative focus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in roles or projects focused on regulatory reporting of COREP statements for Banking, with knowledge and experience in data analysis and processing and report preparation in regulatory environments being essential.
  • Knowledge of solvency regulations (CRR, CRD, COREP, Pillar III).
  • Mastery of statistical programming languages (SAS - SQL), as well as the Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge or experience in reporting tools (Pyramid or equivalent) will be valued.
  • A good level of English (minimum B2).

Nice to have

  • A Master's degree or certifications such as FRM, CFA or similar will be considered a plus.
