Head of Financial Markets Analysis

• We are currently looking for an analytical profile with a macroeconomic vision, capacity for synthesis, and orientation toward strategic decision-making, who knows how to work collaboratively, with flexibility and a result-oriented mindset under tight deadlines, to integrate into the financial markets analysis Unit within the Bank's Studies Directorate.

• That you have higher education in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering, with specialization in the economic-financial field.
• Postgraduate training (master's or equivalent) in economics, finance, or financial markets.
• We will value professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, EFA, or equivalents.
• That you provide relevant and consolidated professional experience (minimum 3 years) in the financial or economic analysis field (banking sector, asset management, consulting, economic analysis centers, central banks, or international organizations).
• That you master the Office suite and can prove demonstrated experience in the use of financial platforms (Bloomberg).
• That you provide proficiency in English (minimum C1).

• Your mission will focus on contributing to the definition of Banco Sabadell's positioning and strategic vision regarding global financial markets and underlying macroeconomic trends, through the preparation of analyses that allow the business, risk, and financial management areas to identify, anticipate, and manage the main risks and opportunities.

• Your main responsibilities will include:
  • You will analyze and monitor the evolution of financial markets (fixed income, currencies, money markets, options, etc.).
  • You will monitor prices, flows, positioning, liquidity, and structure, identifying relevant trends and dynamics.
  • You will evaluate the impact of the macroeconomic and regulatory environment on financial markets, detecting emerging risks (possible bubbles, malfunction risks, etc.).
  • You will integrate and contrast forecasts from investment banks, research houses, and international organizations, providing your own judgment.
  • You will identify investment opportunities, including the field of sustainable finance (ESG).
  • You will contribute to the preparation of investment recommendations and macroeconomic and financial forecasts.
  • You will prepare and communicate market analyses in different formats (reports, presentations, publications, etc.), adapting the message to each audience.
  • You will interact with key stakeholders in the bank, providing expert judgment for decision-making.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally in the initiatives of the Macroeconomics and Financial Markets Directorate.
