O&M Technical Manager

Intermediate or advanced vocational training in the electrical/electronics field with at least 5 years of experience.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance of photovoltaic power generation plants in the renewable energy sector or similar, or with experience in similar roles.

Computer skills and knowledge of CMMS.

Academic education

Reporting to the O&M Supervisor and actively collaborating with the O&M Manager, the O&M Supervisor and the Control Center, this role will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of the plants under their responsibility.

Availability to travel throughout the country will be required, with the main work area being the La Rioja region.

Reference Center: La Rioja region and Eastern Castilla y León (Burgos, Palencia, Aranda de Duero, Valladolid).

· Manage the request and implementation of work permits executed at the assets under their responsibility, acting as applicant and person responsible for the work permit.

· Lead the execution of the LOTOs carried out in the work under their responsibility, performed by non-resident external subcontractors.

· Collaborate in the execution of those jobs for which it is required.

· Supervise personnel being qualified for HV/LV work at the Plant.

· Supervise the correct management of the PPE delivered to their personnel.

· Request from HSE personnel the modification or addition of new PPE in their department according to the tasks.

· Provide technical support to the personnel under their charge during incident resolution.

· Supervise field work carried out by the personnel under their responsibility.

· Supervise work carried out by subcontractors and external companies.

· Supervise and carry out work classified as special risk according to the work permit procedure (such as electrical work, load lifting, work at height, etc.)
· Manage corrective and correction actions arising from non-conformities, HSE events, etc.

· Collaborate and participate in the Analysis and Reporting processes with the O&M Supervisor and the Control Center.

· Collaborate in the execution of audits at the plants under their responsibility.

· Support the O&M Supervisor in the organization and planning tasks of the department.

· Monitor the status of the department's work orders, following prior planning and coordination by the person in charge.

· Follow up on the tasks carried out by the O&M team in their area.

· Properly complete preventive task reports and work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) used by the project.

· Monitor the maintenance plans of the plants.

· Prepare reports on the work carried out at the plants.

· Prepare or manage the technical documentation associated with the plants.

· Carry out the duties arising from their contract in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

· Participate in maintenance on-call rotations.

· Participate in occupational risk prevention through the activities carried out in their department.
