Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, a leading company in the development and generation of renewable energy, storage, and infrastructure in Southern Europe, maintains a firm commitment to decarbonization and the energy transition through a model based on clean energy and sustainable infrastructure.
Since our beginnings in 2002, we have experienced a constant evolution that has led us from being a manufacturer of photovoltaic panels to becoming one of Europe's main renewable energy producers and a developer of critical infrastructure and data centers, listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange since 2007 and part of the IBEX 35 since 2020.
At this time, we are looking for a BESS O&M Technical Manager, whose main mission will be to lead the implementation, commissioning, operation, and optimization of Solaria's battery energy storage systems (BESS), working from our headquarters in Madrid in close coordination with the Engineering, Construction, Asset Management, and Operation and Maintenance teams, guaranteeing the maximum availability, safety, and performance of the storage assets. Likewise, they will act as the primary technical interlocutor with international manufacturers, participating in specialized training programs and technical validation processes, to subsequently lead the knowledge transfer and training of Solaria's O&M teams, contributing to operational excellence and the standardization of processes associated with this strategic technology for the company.
Act as a technical liaison between Solaria and manufacturers during the supply, commissioning, and operation phases.
Travel to the facilities of battery and auxiliary equipment manufacturers, mainly in China and other international markets, for specialized technical training.
Lead the transfer of technical knowledge to the internal O&M teams.
Define the operation and preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for BESS systems.
Prepare manuals, instructions, and operating protocols applicable to Solaria's entire asset network.
Design and deliver training plans aimed at technicians, operators, and maintenance managers.
Provide specialized technical support to field teams during plant operation.
Analyze incidents, alarms, and recurring failures to optimize system availability and performance, in coordination with the Energy Department.
Coordinate improvement campaigns, retrofit, and technological updates of the installed fleet with manufacturers.
Participate in the technical specification of utility scale BESS projects, providing operability and maintainability criteria from the early design phases.
Evaluate technological solutions, system configurations, and new energy storage providers, in support of Engineering and Procurement during the approval and selection processes.
Participate in FAT, technical audits, and equipment validations prior to supply.
Availability for international travel, especially to China, during the approval and technical training phases.
