What you'll do

As a specialist consultant in climate change and decarbonization, your main tasks will relate to:

  • Integrating climate change management into companies' business models, supporting them in reshaping their production processes, as well as their governance, risk, and communication models.
  • Carrying out carbon footprint calculations, both at the organizational level (scopes 1, 2, and 3) and at the product level (based on Life Cycle Assessment methodology).
  • Conducting climate risk and opportunity analyses, both physical and transition-related, for large multinational companies across different sectors.
  • Participating in the development of climate change management plans, both in the area of corporate decarbonization and in adapting to its most adverse effects.
  • Participating in the integration of climate issues into corporate Sustainability strategic plans, facilitating their interconnection with other sustainability topics such as decarbonization, circular economy, natural capital, sustainable finance, value chain, impact measurement, or greenwashing, among others.
  • Collaborating in the analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements related to climate change as relevant as the CSRD Directive, the Ecodesign and Traceability Regulation, the carbon footprint and emission reduction registry, CBAM, or the EU Environmental Taxonomy, among others.
  • Participating in the preparation of annual reports (Sustainability Reports, EU Taxonomy, TCFD Report, TNFD) and responding to ESG indices and analysts (S&P Global for the Dow Jones Index, CDP, FTSE, GRESB, among others), with a focus on the topic of climate change.
