What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering or Law + Business Administration, Economics, Master's in Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least 1-2 years of experience.
  • Interest in Sustainability and Impact topics; Product and Data analysis, Strategy, M&A, etc.

On the ESG team at Transactions we are considering adding an Analyst/Associate profile for the M&A ESG team in Madrid or Barcelona.

As part of this team, you will drive services related to ESG within the world of corporate transactions. The acronym ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, refers to the factors that make a company sustainable through its social, environmental, and good governance commitment, without ever neglecting financial aspects.

What you'll do

  • You will be responsible for analyzing ESG risks and opportunities in sale and purchase transactions (Preparation of Due Diligence reports, etc.)
  • You will participate in the strategic definition (Investment Thesis, internal processes...) of the ESG scope for our clients, mainly professional investors and private equity.
  • You will prepare ESG context and impact reports.
  • You will perform work to ensure access to capital and debt, taking ESG criteria into account.
  • You will evaluate the compliance and alignment of projects and companies regarding sustainability.
  • You will quantify financial impacts derived from ESG risks and opportunities.
