The role
Eatable Adventures is an innovation consultancy and accelerator focused on food and agriculture. We help large food companies work with startups and new technologies, we run acceleration programmes and innovation hubs in Spain, Italy and Latin America, and we publish research on where the foodtech sector is heading. We're a small international team, so the content we put out (about our programmes, the startups we work with and our own point of view on the sector) is a big part of how people find us and decide to work with us.
You'll join our Marketing team with one main job: creating the content that goes out on our digital channels every week. That means LinkedIn and Instagram posts, short videos, newsletters and the pieces that announce our programmes and tell the stories of the startups and partners we work with. You'll publish on real channels with real audiences, and you'll see what happens next: who engages, who signs up and which calls for applications fill up.
Content is the core, but it isn't all you'll do. In a small team, the person who writes the post often also schedules it, builds the newsletter, checks the numbers at the end of the month and helps set up the campaign that promotes it. You'll learn that whole cycle by doing it. We also use AI tools every day to draft, adapt and produce content, and we build some of our own, so you'll learn how a marketing team actually works with them and where their output still needs a human eye.
This is a learning role. You'll work with clear priorities and regular feedback from the team, and you'll get more responsibility as you show you're ready for it.
What you'll do
Content for social media and digital channels (most of your time)
Plan and create posts, carousels, stories and short videos for the LinkedIn and Instagram channels of EA, our innovation hubs and our programmes, following the editorial calendar and brand guidelines.
Turn one piece of content into several: adapt formats, lengths and, when needed, languages for each channel.
Write short articles, startup success stories and newsletter sections.
Cover events (photos, short clips, live posts) and turn them into content afterwards.
Proofread and check every detail (dates, names, links) before anything goes live.
Must-have
You meet the internship requirements below (enrolment and internship agreement).
You're studying marketing, communication, advertising, journalism, audiovisual media, business or a related field.
You write well, clearly and without filler, in both Spanish and English, written and spoken. Both are required.
You've already created content for social media, whether for a university project, a student association, a previous internship or your own account, and can show us some of it.
You're comfortable with a design tool such as Canva, Figma or Adobe, and you're careful with details.
You already use AI tools, enjoy finding new ways to apply them and check what they give you before using it.
Nice-to-have
Basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere or similar).
Some experience with an email marketing or CRM tool (HubSpot, Mailchimp or similar) or a social media scheduler (Metricool or similar).
Basic knowledge of web analytics, SEO or website editors.
Any exposure to LinkedIn or Meta ads.
An interest in food, sustainability, agriculture or startups.
Other languages, Italian in particular.
Internship requirements (please read before applying)
This is an internship under a Spanish training agreement (convenio de cooperación educativa / convenio de prácticas), not an employment contract. To be eligible, you must:
Be enrolled, for the whole duration of the internship, in a university programme (Bachelor's or Master's degree, including university-specific Master's programmes) or in a vocational training programme (Formación Profesional).
Have your university or school sign an internship agreement with Eatable Adventures before you start. It can be a curricular internship (part of your study plan, for credits) or an extracurricular one (voluntary, outside your study plan), as long as your institution allows it.
Accept that the internship's duration and weekly hours will be set by your university's or school's agreement.
If you've already finished your studies and are no longer enrolled, we unfortunately can't offer you this internship. Students enrolled at universities or schools outside Spain are also welcome to apply, as long as their institution can sign the internship agreement with us.
As required by Spanish law, interns are registered with Social Security for the duration of the internship.
