Purpose:
The agricultural machinery maintenance mechanic is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the machinery and equipment used in agricultural operations. This role is fundamental to ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity in the field.
What you'll do
- Perform technical diagnostics and execute repairs on agricultural machinery, such as tractors, seeders, harvesters, and other specialized equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to established programs, guaranteeing the optimal functioning of the equipment.
- Inspect, adjust, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of the machinery according to operational needs.
- Collaborate closely with the agricultural team to detect faults, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose effective solutions.
- Comply with and promote occupational health and safety standards during the execution of all activities.
- Maintain the work area in conditions of order, cleanliness, and safety.
· Provide training to staff on the proper use of machinery and the execution of basic maintenance.
How you'll work
7:30-16:30 off-season (October to March).
06:30-15:00 during season.

Technical knowledge
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of welding.
