Purpose:

The Irrigator is responsible for executing and supervising irrigation and fertigation tasks in grape and stone fruit crops, guaranteeing the efficient use of water and the correct functioning of the irrigation facilities. Likewise, they collaborate in the maintenance of the systems and in the monitoring of the parameters necessary to ensure the optimal development of the plantations, complying with the quality, safety, and sustainability standards established by the company.

What you'll do

· Execute scheduled irrigations following the instructions of the technical team and the farm manager.

· Supervise the correct functioning of the localized irrigation systems, detecting and communicating incidents.

· Perform the cleaning and basic maintenance of filters, pipes, and other components of the irrigation system.

· Prepare and apply fertigation inputs according to technical instructions.

· Record irrigation times, water and fertilizer consumption, as well as detected incidents, in the corresponding applications.

· Collaborate in the installation, repair, and basic maintenance of the irrigation facilities.

· Program weekly irrigations in the established management system.

· Confirm irrigation treatments and keep daily records updated.

· Perform periodic EC and pH measurements, as well as monitoring irrigation probes.

· Manage auxiliary tasks such as receiving orders, monthly inventories, transferring products between heads, and preparing inputs.

· Record the entry and exit of farm personnel through photographic support.

· Collaborate in other agricultural tasks when production needs require it.

· Comply with safety regulations, occupational risk prevention, and good environmental practices.

How you'll work

-Winter: Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00 h (2 breaks of 30 minutes).

-Summer: Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 14:30 h and Saturdays from 07:00 to 12:30 h.
