Purpose:

Field technical personnel will be responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of technical activities on the farm, ensuring compliance with the regulations and guidelines established in the processes of cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, phytosanitary application, and harvest control, among other functions. They will work in close collaboration with the technical manager, the field team, and other departments to ensure the optimization of resources and the fulfillment of established objectives.

• Technical supervision:
  Implement and supervise the development of the technical aspects of the farm agreed upon with the technical manager, including the control of phytosanitary products, irrigation systems, fertilization, and other cultivation tasks.
• Order management:
  Place orders for fertilizers and phytosanitary products with the purchasing department with adequate notice to ensure the timely availability of products.
• Stock control:
  Supervise and control the inventory of phytosanitary products, ensuring their correct use, expenditure, and control by the farm manager.
• Technical recommendations:
  Prepare and deliver recommendations regarding fertigation and phytosanitary products to the corresponding farm manager for their correct implementation.
• Waste management:
  Organize the storage and identification of waste generated on the farm, guaranteeing proper removal by approved managers and in accordance with current regulations.
• Permits and environmental control:
  Manage the application for permits for the burning of plant remains, verifying that the requirements established for said activity are met.
• Control of trials and samples:
  Take samples for trial control and analyze data related to phenology and harvest regulation.
• Labor planning:
  Coordinate with the HR department the calculation and planning of labor objectives, ensuring their fulfillment and reporting to the supervisor.
• Collection of analytical samples:
  Take fruit samples (multi-residue) and perform other analyses (foliar, soil, water) according to the protocols established by the company, delivering the samples to the Quality Department.
• Infrastructure maintenance:
  Ensure the good condition, order, cleanliness, and proper storage of heads, warehouses, machinery, and other farm facilities, complying with safety and occupational risk prevention standards.
• Updating records:
  Keep the information regarding the plot layout and the plant counts for each variety on the farm up to date.
• Irrigation control:
  Perform quarterly control of pH and conductivity of the irrigation water at each farm.
• Machinery calibration:
  Supervise the annual calibration and verification of phytosanitary application machinery, guaranteeing its good condition and compliance with the relevant records.
• Review of signage:
  Review the signage for cultivation units and communicate any need for replacement to the Marketing Department.
• Supervision of plastic placement:
  Supervise the correct placement of plastic on the farm in collaboration with the farm manager and field coordinator.
• Harvest control:
  Control the harvesting process, providing information to the controllers regarding the optimal zones for harvest at any given time.
• Compliance with quality audits:
  Supervise and follow up on the necessary actions to ensure compliance with quality audits.
• Harvest forecasting:
  Manage the forecasting and planning of the harvest according to the established cultivation cycles.
