We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join the IT Architecture area, with a practical approach, close to the teams, and business-oriented.

You will act as the connection point between cybersecurity and technical teams, integrating security from the early stages of development.

What you'll do

Integrate security criteria into the design of applications and SaaS environments
Identify risks and vulnerabilities, proposing viable solutions
Collaborate with other security profiles and technical teams
Support teams in adopting best practices (role such as Security Champion)
Ensure compliance with security standards defined by the organization
Translate cybersecurity needs into concrete actions within IT
Focused primarily on applications and SaaS environments
Ongoing interaction with development and cybersecurity teams

Requirements

Experience in development or architecture (Java, Node.js, Python, or others)
Knowledge of application security (OWASP, APIs, authentication, vulnerability management...)
Ability to identify risks and propose solutions
Experience working with technical teams
Skill in communicating and facilitating the adoption of best practices
