The role

What's your mission?

As a member of the Software Architecture team, the objective will be to lead and govern the Software Architecture domain of Grupo Santalucía, defining the strategy and evolution of the corporate software architecture, establishing the standards, reference models, and technological assets necessary to ensure alignment with the company's technology strategy.

Likewise, the objective will be to ensure the proper delivery of services within the domain by managing teams, activities, capabilities, and budget, participating in the execution of corporate projects and promoting coordination with the various business and technology areas to facilitate the delivery of efficient, sustainable solutions aligned with the organization's transformation goals.

Software Architecture domain coordination: You will be responsible for the domain, reporting to the Technological Architecture manager. In charge of people management and leadership and team capacity, including the external provider teams that make up the domain across the various services provided.

Will collaborate on the management and preparation of budgets for the Software Architecture domain, monitoring the invoicing process and forecasting for the budget lines managed by the domain itself, as well as directly participating in the estimation process for the annual project portfolio.

Interlocution with other areas and departments: You will be the main interlocutor with the rest of the areas and departments that interact with the domain, ensuring coordination with the rest of the Technological Architecture subdomains, as well as domains within the Enterprise Architecture department.

Technological evolution. Management and governance of the corporate software architecture evolution roadmap for the Santalucía Group, through the design and creation of PoCs based on the latest technological trends, as well as the management of projects in which the Software Architecture domain acts in the role of Project Manager/IT Lead.

Must ensure proper alignment with the rest of the Technology Architecture domain, aiming to achieve a unified technology strategy.

Reference software architecture management. Definition of best practices, regulations, design guides, and development of the architecture's technological components for application within the Santalucía ecosystem, as well as management of the governance model and lifecycle of architecture assets.

Leadership of projects and initiatives. Management of participation in the definition, design, construction, deployment, and production phases of applications from the Software Architecture scope, following the lifecycle and development methodologies defined for the ecosystem, as well as participation in their evolution.

Production support. You will help provide the Organization with an agile technological architecture that, supported by components and assets, allows the Technology Area to quickly and efficiently cover the business needs required by the IT Strategic and Transformation Plan.

Required qualification:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Telecommunications

Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT sector and at least 5 years in similar roles.

Experience:

Experience in managing technological projects in the insurance sector and in leading heterogeneous senior teams, with a solid methodological base (in both agile methodologies and the traditional waterfall model), demonstrating a differential value in the evolution of traditional environments and processes, as well as high-level interlocution capacity that allows different project lines to be undertaken with guarantees of success.

Definition of tactical and coexistence solutions to support analytics systems, including data models and data transformation processes.

Experience in performing business needs analysis and recommending technical solutions.

Knowledge of software design, including architecture patterns for Front-end and Back-end layers for the conceptualization and design of new architectures based on new IT paradigms and patterns (e.g., Microservices), as well as service-oriented architectures (SOA, Apification, etc.) and BPMN (Pega).

Demonstrated experience in developing PEGA solutions with Customer Services for Insurances, traditional UI, Cosmos, and Constellation….

Experience in the use of artificial intelligence and Robotics in Pega processes.

Experience in the use of tools linked to the SW lifecycle (Service Now).
