Process Safety Engineer (HAZOP)

• HAZOP/SIL coordination. SIL verification studies, SRS, SIS functional test procedures. Certification in Functional Safety will be valued.
• Preparation of Consequence Assessment Studies, ACR, FERA, BRA, F&G Mapping, etc.
• Use of software: PHA Works, PHA Pro, ExSILentia, EFFECTS, PHAST/SAFETI, etc.

Education

Requirements

Experience participating in PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) studies.

Familiarity with PHA reports.

Experience as a leader or chairman in PHA studies.

Experience as a secretary or scribe in PHA studies.

Participation in PHA studies as part of the engineering team or client.

Knowledge of HSE studies.

Conducting several Hazops per year.

Participation in multiple Hazop sessions per year.

Experience in LOPA, SIL Verification, and SRS, indicating the number of years of participation.

Experience

• At least 5 years in similar positions.
• PHA Works, PHA Pro, ExSILentia, EFFECTS, PHAST/SAFETI, etc.
• ACR, FERA, BRA, F&G Mapping, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…)

• Experience valued in the chemical, renewable, and/or oil sectors.

Knowledge

• English level B2.

Job Description

We are looking for a Process Safety Engineer (HAZOP) for active participation in Process Safety and Risk Analysis projects in industrial facilities, within the Oil&Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors.

Mission

Active participation in Process Safety and Risk Analysis projects in industrial facilities, in the Oil&Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors.

The position to be filled is in Spain. Should you be hired, we will proceed with the necessary procedures to complete the entire relocation (travel), migration (visa), and required license process. It is possible to start remotely prior to migration.
