Cybersecurity Director

Experience

- More than 10 years in ICT or cybersecurity, with at least 5 years leading teams, relevant projects, or managed services.

- Experience making strategic decisions, not just executing.

- Education and technical knowledge

- Computer or telecommunications engineering.

- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or similar.

- Deep knowledge of management frameworks (COBIT5, PMI, ITIL, Agile...), standards (ISO 27001/27002, NIST, ENS, GDPR/LOPDGDD...), and security technologies (FW, WAF, SIEM, NDR, EDR, IAM, etc.).

- Technical English (B2).

Valuable, but not essential

- MBA.

- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum...).

- Advanced cybersecurity certifications (CEH, CHFI, OSCP...).

- Master's in cybersecurity.

Here is what will occupy your day-to-day, without embellishment:

Strategic management

- Define and execute the direction of the area: clients, services, team, marketing, R&D+i.

- Ensure compliance with the strategic plan, area objectives, and business KPIs.

- Keep the portfolio updated: what we offer, why, at what price, and to whom.

Business development

- Active presence with VIP clients and relevant potential prospects.

- Lead relationships with partners, manufacturers, and key sector players.

- Drive strategic proposals and participate in their defense.

- Accompany and train the sales area so they gain real autonomy.

Project and service management

- Ensure that strategic services and critical projects are executed with quality and focus.

- Verify compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Identify operational risks within the area and make timely decisions.

Team leadership

- Facilitate the work of the technical and consulting teams (do not be a bottleneck).

- Manage conflicts when they arise and work towards a healthy and sustainable climate.

- Ensure discipline, results orientation, and quality in execution.

Representation

- Be the visible face of BE:SEC in forums, events, and cybersecurity environments.

- Position the area as a sector benchmark with judgment and credibility.
