Refrigeration Maintenance Technician (Ammonia)

· Vocational Training (FP) Intermediate or Higher Degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or similar.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial refrigeration.

· Experience in industrial refrigeration systems with ammonia (NH₃).

· Certification in the handling of fluorinated gases.C

· Residence in Barcelona or surrounding areas.

· Availability for national travel and on-call shifts.

We are looking to hire an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician for one of our facilities in Barcelona with availability for travel.

Mission:

To guarantee the correct operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration facilities using ammonia (NH₃), ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and quality of customer service.

Functions:

· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial refrigeration facilities.

· Diagnose and repair faults in NH₃ refrigeration systems. Assemble, disassemble, and replace refrigeration components.

· Perform leak tests, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging.

· Execute commissioning and operational adjustments of the facilities.

· Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.

· Perform connection, calibration, and verification of instruments and automation systems.

· Prepare technical reports of the interventions carried out.

· Participate in technical on-call shifts and travel to client sites.
