What we're looking for

We want to add to our team in Vigo an Industrial Refrigeration Technician with experience in ammonia (NH₃) installations, who enjoys technical work, troubleshooting, and the challenges posed by industrial refrigeration facilities.

We are looking for a person with autonomy, diagnostic capability, and a commitment to safety and service quality, who wants to continue developing within a company specialized in industrial refrigeration.

Previous experience in the maintenance of industrial refrigeration installations with ammonia (NH₃). This is the primary requirement for the position.
Solid knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems and their components.
Ability to diagnose faults and work autonomously in industrial installations.

Nice to have

Experience with screw and reciprocating compressors, pumped NH₃ systems, glycol circuits, and NH₃/CO₂ cascade systems.
Experience in refrigeration installations within the food, fishing, or logistics industries.
Higher Technician degree in Thermal and Fluid Installations maintenance, or Technician in Assembly and Maintenance of Cold, Air Conditioning, and Heat Production Installations, or IMAR0108, or other equivalent training qualifying for the refrigeration technician profession.
Holding the F-gas handling certificate without charge limit (updated to 2017).
Driving license (category B).

The role

Industrial Refrigeration Technician – NH₃ (Ammonia) Specialist

What you'll do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial refrigeration installations, primarily with NH₃ refrigerant.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational faults in refrigeration plants and industrial equipment.
Intervene in installations featuring industrial compressors, evaporators, condensers, pumps, valves, and regulation and control systems.
Supervise the operation of the installations, verifying operating parameters, performance, and safety conditions.
Perform technical adjustments and actions to guarantee the reliability, operational continuity, and energy efficiency of the systems.
Collaborate with the technical team in identifying improvements and optimizing the installations.
