What we're looking for

For this position, we are looking for a profile with leadership and technical capacity in industrial welding:

Education: Intermediate Vocational Training in Welding and Boilermaking or Metal Construction (or related technical training).
Experience: Minimum 5 years in chassis manufacturing, boilermaking, or welded structures, with proven experience in the management and direction of work teams.
Technical knowledge: Proficiency in MAG welding, blueprint interpretation, welding symbology, and OSH regulations in the metal sector.
Digital skills: Use of office software (Excel) and valuable knowledge of ERP or MES environments.
Personal competencies: Close leadership, orientation toward quality, problem-solving capacity, and communication skills.

What you'll do

-Transforming manufacturing planning into operational tasks, distributing personnel according to workload and multi-skilling.

Technical supervision of the assembly of frames, metal structures, and MAG welding processes, ensuring compliance with blueprints and tolerances.
Technical execution control: verification of positioning, squaring, alignment, and correction of deviations in the process.
Quality management: guaranteeing dimensional and visual controls, containment of non-conformities, and coordination with the Quality department.
Resource and logistics management: control of material and tool availability and coordination with Maintenance in the event of possible breakdowns.
Recording and traceability: compliance with production and quality reports and the documentation necessary to guarantee traceability per vehicle.
Team leadership: direction, training, and development of multi-skilling in the operators and coordinators of the section.
Prevention and safety: strict compliance with safety, protection, and order measures in the work area.
Continuous improvement: management of shift handovers, identification of causes of rework, and proposals for improvement in productivity and processes.
Regulatory compliance: application of Quality management systems (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001-EMAS), and Energy Efficiency.
