Job Description

The primary mission of the Research Associate will be to cooperate on a research project, integrated into a team of 5 chemists, synthesizing collections of novel organic molecules with the purity, quantity, and structural determination required by our clients.

Responsibilities (100% laboratory work):

  • Perform organic synthesis reactions at laboratory scale.
  • Purification of compounds using various techniques.
  • Analysis, identity, and coding.
  • Accurate documentation of experiments performed in the laboratory in an electronic notebook.
  • Handling of scientific instrumentation: Flash Chromatography (MPLC), Rotavapor, Ultraviolet, High Vacuum, H-Cube, Microwave, Flow-Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Automatic Synthesizers, etc.
  • Use of liquid chromatography equipment (HPLC), thin-layer chromatography assays...
  • Cleaning and maintenance of equipment, as well as the laboratory workspace.
